Another Commando II Delivery

The fifteenth MC-130J Commando II Special Operations aircraft to come off the assembly line at the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia, was flown to Cannon AFB, New Mexico on 22 February 2013. This aircraft (Air Force serial number 10-5714) will be flown by crews from the 522nd Special Operations Squadron at Cannon. Twenty-seven MC-130Js will be delivered to US Air Force Special Operations Command. The Commando II is used for such missions as in-flight refueling, infiltration/exfiltration, and aerial delivery and resupply of special operations forces.
