Final C-130J For Dyess

The twenty-eighth and final C-130J Super Hercules for the 317th Airlift Group at Dyess AFB, Texas, was delivered on 25 July 2013. The aircraft (Air Force serial number 08-5726) was flown from the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia, to the base in Abilene by Gen. Paul Selva, the commander of Air Mobility Command. With two flying units, the 39th and 40th Airlift Squadrons, the 317th AW operates the largest C-130J fleet in the world.
