300th C-130J

The 300th C-130J, an MC-130J Commando II Special Operations aircraft was ferried from the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia, on 18 December 2013 by a US Air Force crew. The Commando II (Air Force serial number 11-5737) is assigned to US Air Force Special Operations Command. The MC-130J supports such missions as in-flight refueling, infiltration/exfiltration, and aerial delivery and resupply of Special Operations forces. MC-130Js are based at Cannon AFB, New Mexico, and the US base at RAF Mildenhall, England. The MC-130J training unit is at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.
