Steadfast Javelin II

Legacy C-130 and C-130Js from Air National Guard units from California, Delaware, Missouri, Kentucky, and the host 37th Airlift Squadron wait on the flightline at Ramstein AB, Germany, on 2 September 2014, before the start of the Steadfast Javelin II exercise. Steadfast Javelin II is a NATO-led exercise that involved more than 5,800 service members from sixteen nations and took place across Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland. The exercise, which ran from 4-11 September, focused on increasing interoperability and synchronizing complex operations between allied air and ground forces through airborne and air assault missions.
