The 314th Airlift Wing, the C-130 aircrew and maintainer schoolhouse at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas, carried out its last training mission with the C-130H on 30 June 2015. The aircraft was launched by maintenance students who were taught by active-duty instructors from the 314th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. Training for H-model pilots and loadmasters has already transitioned to the 159th Training Squadron, the Arkansas Air National Guard unit, also based at Little Rock. H-model maintenance training is the last to be handed over to the Guard. The 314th AW, which will now focus on C-130J aircrew and maintainer training, trained C-130H aircrew and maintainers for more than a decade.
