Iraqi Air Force Logistics Summit

Iraqi Air Force logistics wing commanders from across that country met for the first time at Joint Base Balad, Iraq, on 6 July 2011. Attendees, including US Airmen serving on the Iraqi Training and Advisory Mission-Air staff and Iraqi Air Force logistics staff members, arrived at the summit on an Iraqi C-130. The purpose for the summit was to to provide the Iraqi Air Force members with an opportunity to collaborate and discuss common concerns and objectives with respect to logistical operations and to showcase a US Air Force logistics operation. During the day, attendees visited the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing aerial port, cargo area, passenger terminal, and civil engineering shops.
