A C-130 Hercules crew takes off during Joint Operations Access Exercise, or JOAX, 12-2 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on 5 June 2012. This JOAX is a two-week joint airdrop and ground combat exercise designed to enhance service cohesiveness between US Army and Air Force personnel, allowing both services an opportunity to properly execute large-scale heavy equipment and troop movement. The C-130 is assigned to the 19th Airlift Wing at Little Rock AFB, Arkansas.
