Bound For Dyess

The next two C-130Js that will be delivered to Dyess AFB, Texas, near completion at the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia. Once they roll out of the main assembly building, the aircraft will be painted and will then enter production flight test prior to delivery to the base in Abilene later this year. The 317th Airlift Group at Dyess will receive twenty-eight new Super Hercules tranports, making the group the world’s largest operator of C-130Js.
