Hurricane Relief Effort Continues

A C-130 with cargo and a maintenance and supply team from the 436th Airlift Wing at Dover AFB, Delaware, is prepared takeoffen route to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City on 3 November 2012. The team traveled to New York to provide a deployed maintenance capability to C-5 Galaxy crews supporting hurricane relief operations in the area. This C-130H and flight crew were from the 133rd Airlift Wing, the Minnesota Air National Guard unit at the Minneapolis-St. Paul ARS. As of 7 November, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard C-5, C-130, C-17, and C-27J crews have flown nearly 200 sorties, moving more than 700 passengers and approximately 3,000 tons of cargo.
