The crew of Fat Albert, the C-130T support aircraft for the Blue Angels, the US Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, visited the Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia, on 3 December 2012 to pick up two pallets of toys for children in New York and New Jersey impacted by Hurricane Sandy. More than 900 toys were loaded in Marietta, many of which were donated by Lockheed Martin employees. After a stop in Washington for additional toys, the Fat Albert crew flew to JB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, where the 1.5 ton toy payload was unloaded and distributed. This is the third year Lockheed Martin has partnered with the Blue Angels to support the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.
